O'Reilly Says ACLU Aids Terrorism?

Uploaded by: LiberalViewer
Video Description:
On Fox News this week, Bill O'Reilly's latest attack on the American Civil Liberties Union, claiming the ACLU aids terrorism, was based on fear and fallacies rather than facts as I show with the clips and analysis in this video.
You can see the ACLU's full page ad in the NY Times calling for teh closing of the prison at Guantanamo at http://www.closegitmo.com/nyt_ad.pdf
Three clips of Bill O'Reilly come from his November 17, 2008, Talking Points memo transcribed at http://tinyurl.com/5vj8mm
One clip of Bill O'Reilly comes from a June 13, 2008 segment I have not found available online.
You can see the full transcript of John McCain's April 2, 2007, interview on Fox News Sunday from which I took a short clip for my video at http://tinyurl.com/2dv2az
And, finally, you can find DOZENS and DOZENS more examples of Fox News bias on my Fox News bias playlist at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

Did they ever think of just killing those 250 Terrorists?
Lol it would save a whole lot of time and make the country safer.

Hey "broken heart" or whatever lets send you to "gitmo"(are u too stupid to pronounce guantanamo)?is it too foreign for your tiny zenophobic brain? If enough of us say youre a terrorist theyll believe it and hopefully waterboard the fuck out of you.Wanker.

Freedom of speech if they only agree with you, eh? You're a credit to democracy.

ACLU = American Cock Lickers Union.
They're not interested in the Constitution, all they're interested in is progressing their crypto-socialist, Berkeley style, hippie-esque bullshit interpretations of the law.

American republicans are scum.
How can you be so sure all 250 at Guantanamo are guilty of terrorism? Good to know before killing them.
Who are you to appoint yourselves as having a superior moral in the world? USA has never been perceived as having superior moral by the rest of the world, so that comment was fucking laughable.
USA = HATE and DEATH (At least the Reps)

actually they believe in the constitution and the morals of america. you know, the 2 very important items republicans seem to be missing in todays society.

i hope that you know that freedom of speech does not give a person the right to force themselves on television. sure, he can speak in a street and be perfectly fine, but the heads of fox have the full legal rights to fire and get him off the air.
Nope, it doesn't, ... ( 5 days ago by Vondine)
Nope, it doesn't, but this person seems to think Bill O' should be taken off air simply for disagreeing with him. I never contested whether Fox has the legal right or not to fire him, but that's not going to happen as long as O'Reilly brings in the ratings.

LMFAO! That's a good one, Skull. ACLU believing in American morals and the Constitution. Oh dude, you outta be a comedian.
It's funny how damn selective the ACLU are with their cases. I mean, their litigators will pounce on anyone who displays a nativity scene in public but not do so to other religious doniminations. Hell, I can think of a case where some jackoff required the Q'uran as required reading for his public history class to promote "tolerance" in the wake of 9/11.
Strangley, the ACLU ... ( 5 days ago by Vondine)
Strangley, the ACLU were silent about this. I can only imagine how they'd shit their pants if some teacher required his students to read a Bible.
Also, where was the ACLU when D.C. denied it's citizens the right to the 2nd Amendment? They didn't give two shits about that right. Guess what? The ACLU wasn't to happy with the Supreme Court's decision on SCOTUS they're many cases of hypocrisy on the ACLU's part I can list, but there's no room for that.
In short, the ACLU are bullshitters.
Democrats vs ... ( 5 days ago by Vondine)
Democrats vs Republicans. I don't like either, but I believe republicans are the lesser of two evils when it comes to pragmatism. I am a registered libertarian so I hate both the neocons and progressives equally, but I'm willing to vote neocon for a little bit.
As it stands, republicans want to take away abortion and marriage rights. I don't care since neither affects me. Democrats want to take away my gun and financial rights, which does affect me so I s'pose I continue voting repub.
lmfao, you have no ... ( 5 days ago by AJSkullCrusher)
lmfao, you have no idea what the ACLU does. they believe in separation of church and state. if they see any nativity scene in a official government building (which includes schools) then they step in.
take a minute and actually learn about the ACLU, even just go to snopes and see what dumb things people have tried to put on the ACLU. just google "aclu fights for christians" and you will get plenty of links showing the true color of the ACLU.

but with his many mistakes and the sexual lawsuit he should have been fired at least, not because of his opinion differs from mine but just because he's bad at his job.
The ACLU believe in ... ( 5 days ago by Vondine)
The ACLU believe in Church and State to a degree. An example would be recently in the form of LA County's State seal. They went apeshit about the little cross to the side claiming it endorsed a religion, but left the icon of fertility goddess(still worshipped by modern wiccans) intact. This is blatant hypocrisy on their part and speaks volumes about their selectiveness.
As for your last assertions, I'd call that a token case so they can go "LOOK, we're not anti-christian!"
Array ( 5 days ago by Vondine)
Addendum:
You seem to have overlooked one part of what I wrote: the ACLU go after mostly religious symbols associated with christianity while not showing the same discrimination against others such as Channukah and Ramadan.
Just google "ACLU hypocrisy and you'll get hundreds of thousands of hits.
"But with his many ... ( 5 days ago by Vondine)
"But with his many mistakes." Do you mean, factual errors? Welcome to the world of commentators and opinion journals where lies and smear are made with immunity! I mean, if O should be taken off so should Stossel, Olbermann, Carlson, Couric and basically all the figureheads.
Also, I believe the lawsuit ended in a settlement, typically meaning the acussers didn't have shit to take to court.
but it's sort of ... ( 5 days ago by AJSkullCrusher)
but it's sort of weird how so many of his "mistakes" always go in favor of republicans and conservatives most of the time.
a settlements does not mean the accusers didn't have "shit" or billo the clown would have taken them to court and won and pay nothing to them. a settlement means that billo the clown was worried that he would loose and instead decided to pay them an amount they deemed good enough to avoid the court system altogether.

So i agree that there are human rights violations occuring in guantanamo and i am completely against those violations, however u are very incorrect that bringing them to state courts will not compromise national security. based on what evidence? would you happen to remember the state trial of a terrorist some years ago that resulted int the attorney contacting and providing information to the terrorist organization? you should get you facts before you talk. your not exactly unbiased either.....

and p.s. the terrorists a gitmo dont have the access to state courts that u depict. the supreme court did rule that, however theres a caviat. How would any of us know they want to go to state court? they cant exactly call a lawyer and say hey bring me to state court.

Are you saying that gitmo is okay because those are the men that would have attacked america and since those few hundred guys are locked up without charges for sometimes more than 5 years is the reason there have been no attacks on our soil?
